Anyone do anything fun?
H and I went to B'ham because my niece was going to be spending time with my aunt and uncle for an early birthday celebration. She'll be 4 next week and we took her to the Galleria for her first mall trip and she was just in awe of everything. She really liked the toy store, the disney store, and the carousel, and we took her to Build-A-Bear and she was so fascinated by the sounds you can put in the bears..lol. We stopped at JCP on the way to the cars and thanks to my mom she also went home with 2 dresses, and purse #2 of the day.
Then we took her back to the house and had cookies, cake, and ice cream and then it was time for her to go home. I wish they lived closer so we could see her more often but my aunt and uncle are going to try and get her the week before Thanksgiving and Christmas.
After that we watched the abysmal AU game (still proud to be a tiger fan though) and yesterday we drove by 2 houses I saw online just to do it.
Re: How was everyone's weekend?
Our weekend is great. I didn't have to work and I decided that I was not going to study during the weekend so DH and I could spend time together. Friday we went out to eat and went to a new bar downtown for drinks. It was so nice to go out on a date-we haven't done that in a while. Saturday we spent watching football- DH was happy cause of the bama game. I was not so happy about the AU game but WAR EAGLE anyways. Then yesterday we layed around and watched old movies on demand. It was so relaxing. I needed a weekend like that.
That is so cute about the Galleria. I can remember taking my cousin to build a bear years ago. She was fascinated!!! Are ya'll looking to buy a house sometime soon? DH and I ride around all the time looking at houses-hopefully soon we will buy one.
My weekend was fabulous!
Saturday we went to my mom's and ordered pizza and watched the Bama game on her new HDTV. I was happy with the outcome but not with they way they played. The highlight of my weekend was Saturday night we went to see KISS which was an AMAZING show. By far the best concert I have ever been too. I can't wait to see them live again. Sunday we slept late and then we went to eat lunch at my aunt's and then my cousin brought her 1-year-old over which was nice because we hardly ever see them. Landon (the baby) just started walking and it was so cute watching him going all over the place.
Awesome weekend and now, back to reality.
