I don't know if this is true in Florida, but one of my BFFs works for Toys R Us, and anytime a Wii is in the ad/circular, they will have Wii's that following Sunday.
Then you go at 5 am, get a ticket, stand in line. One Wii per family.
I got mine on a whim. I stopped in with BFF to pick something up and they told us they still had 4 left, so I bought one. I think we've had it since a little before Christmas of last year.
The actual Wii console?
My friend works at Meijer's here in MI and she new someone that had one in lay-away and that lady said she was going to cancel her order because she decided she couldn't afford it, so I just went in and paid off the balance of her order and bought it myself. I was able to get it in time for Christmas when they first came out.

I am also replacing my gym membership for a Wii fit (we were not going to the gym anyway) so that's another incentive
