I EC'd 2 other babies
I visited MrsSarah's boy, Ben, as well as our best friend's boy, Alex, on Saturday (they were born 1 day apart... so both just over 2 weeks old).
I helped the moms out by changing the diapers, and when I did, I took each boy to the bathroom to see if they would pee. Before I had a chance to do/say anything, they both pooped big time. Sarah's DH was there with me, and he was so impressed. my other girlfriend was there with Alex, and she was happy to see they could save on diapers.
I hope that I wasn't pushing anything on them... but I just wanted to show them how easy it is - just giving the baby the opportunity to "go" out of their diaper.
anyways, I thought it was super cool!
Jeremy is still doing great - my best day was on his 3 month birthday... where I was very consious of taking him to the bathroom... I "caught" 12 pees during the day and his 1 poo, and in the night I caught 2 more. (I only changed 2 wet cloth diapers that day). nowadays, whenever I take him, if he starts to fuss, I know that means he doesn't want to go, but usually I make the sounds and he will go. he is totally trained like Pavlov's Dog.
