OK, I know that linking to blog posts annoys some people, but this one is kind of long and involves a lot of photos that I'm too lazy to PIP.
Clicky to see how awesome Mariko is!
Re: Mariko = the awesome!
Ohhh...love the photos! Yum!
I literally live 5 minutes from Chocolate World..which is a lil' touristy spot that teaches you about the wonderful world of Hershey's chocolate and sell ALL sorts of seasonal and "limited edition" candies. They once had Elvis inspired banana filled kisses. Yum! Not really sure what Elvis has to do with bananas, but it was super yummy.
Hershey's also owns a lot of non-chocolate candies. Like Twizzlers, Ice Breakers, Bubble Yum, Jolly Ranchers and they own Mauna Loa now. Just a lil' FYI.
Yikes...I totally went on a Hershey teaching rampage. hehe.
How thoughtful!!!
Looks like you will be in "Hershey Heaven" for a little bit
Check this out, I had to google this, but appears Elvis had a real fondness for Hot Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwiches with bacon.
OMG, seriously, Mariko is right about those Hershey pretzels. I finally caved after rationing out one serving per day and ate half of the container. HEAVEN!!!!!!
Actually, I may need to send Mariko some $$ to get those buggers shipped to me for Christmas gifts!
LoL! Yea, I was wrong, they were Reese's Peanut Butter cups. So that totally makes sense. hehe
I didn't know some of that existed either!
me heads to the store to check this out....
I totally miss living up there sometimes - I went to college up there and lived there for several years after.
My gram used to get me the Hershey's Chocolate Covered Pretzel tin for my bday every year, but sadly she decided they were too expensive and went for Gertrude Hawk (they are ok, but certainly not like Hershey's!).
Wow, that looks SO freaking good
Those snacksters are really yummy too. I never heard of them either until I had Mariko as my knottie swapper and she got me those. I finished two packages of them in one sitting and they were only 100 calories each so no guilt
aww how sweet of Mariko!! The twins are probably dancing around in your tummy from the sugar rush lol.
Mariko - i would have to visit Hershey, PA one of these days!! lol
Well...not all of them...quite...
