I just bought a house and I have been digging up a crazy amount of spider lily bulbs. Some of them have been planted for a while because they are huge! I proabably have close to 1,000 bulbs and I just really don't know what to do with them. Do you think I should try to sell them? If so, how much would you price them for?
Re: Spider lily bulbs
I'd buy some from you! Do you know what colors they are?
You can also try your local FreeCycle. People would be willing to trade your bulbs for other plants.
Haha...I'd love to sell you some
.
The flowers are red. They came up this summer and they looked amazing. The only problem was that they looked like they were just randomly dumped around the yard and I prefer a more landscaped look.
Well - you have a buyer! LOL
I notice that people here love to let them naturalize in the yards. There is a house on my drive into work that has a ton of pink Naked Ladies (Surprise Lilies - i.e Lycoris) in the yard. They are on my list of bulbs to plant.
I confess to being a lily addict. I love them. I just can't think of a more beautiful and simple flower.
I'll send you a PM for details on your bulbs.
Bubbles are serious stuff.
