Dressing up for Halloween?

So, who's doing it?  What are you going to be?  I'd love to hear your ideas.

 DH and I and our friends love dressing up and we throw a big party every year.  This year we are renting out a fireman's bar for about 50 of us, where we will have food, drinks, and a costume contest with trophy prizes.

This year I'm doing a group girls costume and we're going to be Jem and the Holograms (remember them?!).  DH is dressing as Buddy the Elf.

We're not dressing up, but I have to comment on the Jem costumes.  I loooooved Jem growing up.  As the oldest in my husband's group of friends, I am the only one who knows of her.  This is funny because we recently attended a wedding where the ceremony was focused on synergy.  I kept giggling to myself thinking of Jem's computer friend!!

I still don't know what I'm going to be though. We were thinking of doing Little Red Riding Hood & the Wolf or Hef & a Playboy bunny (not sure I have the bod for that), but now DH might have to go out of town so I have no clue.

My standbys are Pocahontas (have the costume) or a cowgirl (so easy) or something, but I'm waiting for inspiration to strike!

DH, my sister, and I are going as Billy Ray, Miley, and Hannah Montana.  We found lots of horrible clothing from the line at Wal-Mart so it should be lots of fun!

I'm late on this--but I wanted to respond because DH just got the main part of his costume in the mail yesterday (I was getting worried.)  But he's being Ditka (the sweater is the part that just arrived) and I am being a referee.

we didn't dress up today, but I was a witch at school yesterday, and our dog is wearing a vampire costume.  Usually DH is the devil, but he has to work and he wasn't feeling it this year.
