my "cherry" has been popped!
That is a direct quote from my buddy (also a girl) firefighter at the Pittsfield fire last night. I finally made it to a structure fire! Got to do interior attack with my crew. When we got out back out one of the guys says to me..."So how was your first time?" I said "Great, when can we do it again?" It was the hottest, scariest, neatest thing I have ever been into. Way Cool! Finally got to put my training to use...

When I heard about the fire on the news this morning my stomach sank. I was hoping it wasn't one of the kids from schools house. Thank God no one was hurt.
