We're probably going to try to do an evening in North Beach or something SF'y.  Let me know if you're up for it.  I was going to ask Blake if she had any fun recs.

I'm not sure of our exact plans yet while we're up there, but I'll definitely keep this in mind! We can discuss as the date gets closer. North Beach would be fun. Union Square will be a madhouse, but also still fun.

I don't mind it at all that it will be busy since we can just take Bart.  Tonight, email me where your parents live and I'll do the same.

AM - is NOPA appropriate to bring my parents?  They are WAY casual.  Also, good for dinner?  I was thinking NOPA for lunch and perhaps Plouf or Roots for dinner on Friday, otherwise for dinner Saturday.

NOPA is great for dinner. It has a neighborhood-vibe to it, so I think your parents would be fine there. It was a very diverse group of diners. My friends have also been back multiple times and have never had a bad experience.

Plouf is also yummy, as are most of its neighboring restaurants. Belden Alley is like a little bit of Europe in SF.

I mentioned this to my mom and she said no, she'd rather go to Red Lobster or BJ's.

I don't even think that there is a BJs or Red Lobster in within SF. I know that there is an OG at Stonestown though.
