Gardening Clogs/Shoes

Do you have them? What brand? What makes them great?

Re: Gardening Clogs/Shoes

  • Use the clog version of LL Bean's Storm Chaser: http://www.llbean.com/shop/guidePages/stormChaser/index.html

i didn't really buy these specifically for gardening; I bought them from slushy winter days & shoveling snow.  I find them comfy & waterproof so I also use them in spring/summer in the garden.

Crocs would probably be a good choice, though.  You could hose them off when they got dirty.

  • I wear regular leather work boots, same as men in the landscape industry. I hose them off after every job so I don't track mud across the clients sidewalks or into my truck.

  • I've heard a lot about people using crocs as gardening shoes.

  • I got shoes in Target that are just like Crocs minus the holes and I love them.  I see them there every summer when they have the gardening stuff out.  They're just plastic clogs so you can just hose them off and they're really comfortable.I know people use Crocs for gardening, but I really don't get it.  My shoes get pretty filthy and muddy sometimes and I don't know how that would work with the holes.
  • I just wear an old pair of sneakers. I take them off in the garage before I come inside.
