Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I wish I could share good news, but unfortunately I need some Nestie vibes instead. My grandma has been battling cancer for the past 3+ years and got some more bad news yesterday. She's developed 3 new tumors while on her last round of chemo. The doctors said they won't operate on them, but will continue the chemo to help keep her comfortable. They are no longer trying to kill the cancer completely.
I just found out tonight that when she first got it the doctors told her she had about 5 years if she was lucky. She's now on year 4. It just seems surreal to me to think that my grandma is actually dying. She's 67. I just always figured she had time and would be around to see my children. Please keep her and my family in your thoughts.
