The weather report gets me giddy!!!

Just watched the weather report, and they gave the Mt. Hood update (22" in the past 36hours!). They mentioned the resorts are starting to open up already, and do you KNOW how excited it makes this nestie? SO excited. Thrilled at the fact I don't have to drive 3 hours to get to "fake" snow (Big Bear Mountain in Southern CA that has like a foot a year, if that!) or drive 7 hours to get to real snow (Mammoth Mtn. in the lower Sierras).

The fact that the ski resorts are an hour away  makes me so excited!!

  • I love snow, on the mountains... and I tolerate it OK in town, I just hate how stupid people get when trying to drive in it.. and last years snow was a wee bit ridiculous :D  We have a steep driveway, and even though we have an AWD car, we had to get our driveway shoveled to get out of it!!

  • I love the snow as well, but we had three feet of snow at our house last winter for a month, so my Honda sat the whole time and I had be driven everywhere. Did not like that one bit. But it was fun to play in with our dogs thou, they loved it to no end.

Don't get me wrong-I'm OK with it being an hour away, and not in my driveway!
