Do you decorate your house for holidays? Do you go all out or just do a little?
Re: 10/28
We love to decorate, but we don't have a lot of stuff. For Halloween this year we are not decorating bc we are waiting for after teh holiday to buy everything on sale.
Last year we bought some Christmas stuff and got some for our anniversary, so we will be decorating. I still don't think we go all out though. I'd like to put lights outside this year =D.
We go all out for Christmas.
We live in an apartment, so we don't decorate outside. However, we do decorate like crazy inside. I've got some pictures from two years ago. It was worse last year. We bought a monorail from Disney World that goes around the tree. In our kitchen, we have a bar that goes around it. My husband built this thing that sits on top of the bar (exact same dimensions). It looks like snow and snow drifts (covered in cotton and then we have this white glittery powder that makes it look more realistic) and we have a caroler scene that sits on it.
Ignore the fact that I look awful in the top picture.
Okay I am going to sound like the biggest Bah Humbugger. No we do not decorate for any holiday other than Christmas. Why?
1. Who the heck is going to see it? We live at the end of a cul-de-sac that no one ever comes down. Why bother. We don't get company either ever.
2. It's a pain in the butt to do it and then have to put it away. Again-who would see it? Just me and DH and DS
Okay Christmas is a little different. We don;t go all out. Just the tree (which should be interesting now that we have DS- I see a lot of "No no touch" in my future") and some random things around the house. I hate clutter and again loathe the putting away part of it all. Of course we have the stockings and a couple of statues, but again we'll have to keep a close eye on DS.

I wouldn't say we go all out, no blow up things in the yard or anything like that but we do decorate...why am I saying we? I decorate
For Halloween I try to stick to just Fall stuff since I can leave it up until Thanksgiving. Christmas is a definite yes. Tree(s), lights, garland, stockings..the whole nine.
For my bridal shower, my MIL gave me decorations for every single holiday in coordinating totes. I now have stuff and new stuff for Easter, Spring, Summer, Halloween/Fall, and Christmas...even St Patty's day and Vday decor. It was impressive that she even thought about that since she's really not into decorating but she knows I am.
