SPDBMP613 I know you said you were only going to be around yesterday.... But I'm really hoping you're here today, because I'm bored and excited about a mini "vacation" which starts tomorrow and I do NOT want to work. I need distractions. Someone please distract me.

I'm right there with you in not wanting to work today-partially b/c tomorrows "Friday" and paritally because I've only got 1 week left here and there's absolutely NOTHING for me to do. That's alright-it gives me a chance to do some Nesting. :-)
Are you excited about your MB trip?? I know I'm ready to be there already. Steve and I are dropping the pups @ the kennel after work tomorrow and heading out-we'll get to the IL's around 9:30-10pm and then (hopefully if the weather's good) spend the majority of Friday on the beach with the other oodles and oodles of people vacationing there. I think we're heading back here Saturday to "beat" the traffic that'll be happening Sunday. It'll be a quick trip but I'm really looking forward to having a little down time and just enjoying our time at the beach!!!

MrsD07 I am SOOO ready for the beach! i am pasty white and I know we wont be there long enough to realyl get a TAN but at least maybe I can get rid of the "glow in the dark" properties of my skin right now!
Awh you're leaving Sat? I was going to suggest if you all didn't have aything to do and wanted to do something really dorky-touristy you could go to medieval times with us! My husband went as a kid and it's his favorite beach memory, so we are all going for him... (since he actually hates the beach, sand, salt water, and sun)
Can you believe with him HATING the beach I got him to marry me in Jamaica!!!?!?!

We are going to Myrtle Beach. I know, it's a redneck riviera, but when i was a kid my parents and grandparents went every year (we are from WV... we fit in perfectly there haha.) My first trip to MB was when I was 10 months old.
Anyway we haven't been in YEARS and my parents suggested we do something for the 4th of July and they suggested MB since it's about 3.5 hours from us and they love going there so they don't mind the drive. We got a 3br 3 bath condo and my cousin and his wife and their little girl who live in Simpsonville are all going with us too! It'll be my first vacation with my cousin and his wife and daughter, so I hope it goes well. I was never close to them until we moved to Greenville in October. Now we've all become best friends. Sometimes vacations and close-quarters strain family and friend relations though, so I'm glad it's a shorter trip, Thursday morning- Sunday. That way we can see how well we all travel together.
It'll be an adventure!
I'm right there with you!!! a day and 1/2 is not near enough to get rid of the "transparent" feature that my skin has, but it'll tone it down a bit (at least I'm hoping it will)
We're leaving Saturday to beat the traffic (hopefully) and to just be able to have Sunday as an "us" day - us and the pups after we pick them up of course. Otherwise it would have been great to meet up with you all somewhere!!!
