i just saw your response on my pets post about the feline pine...it is definitely the pellet that we have. mika just pooped in our foyer today so i'm officially going to have to switch. i was trying the tough love thing but yeah she hates the pellets. so...how does the clumping work? like regular cat litter? does this mean i can't use the feline pine *sifting* litter box that we bought specifically for the litter anymore? oye hahaha

If it means you can't use it we'll swap you boxes.  When we moved, Sum decided to poop on the floor, too, because she didn't want to go upstairs to the box.  So we bought a sifting box from PetCo for the FP instead of the official one, but the pellets are too small and fall through.

It came with two normal boxes that we don't use, and we still need an official one.  Stick out tongue

  • Hmmm...I dont know about the box.

But the clumping stuff-looks and feels just like sawdust. Its so much more convenient and is more litter like. Merlin is a senior now, and is very set in his ways. He was not down with 'pellet' litter.

The best part is he would strain and struggle to poop right where I could see it to show me his disapproval. I know conventional wisdom says cats dont poop out of spite, but mine does
