~?~Moms!!!~?~ Another question...
Have any of you ever taken your kids to the Gymboree classes? I just noticed they have Saturday classes and I was thinking about enrolling Rylie. Just wanted to see what you all thought about them if you've gone, or if you've heard anything. TIA!!!

Ponder-ing whether or not to become a Viking's fan
I am not a mom..but my best friend is and she takes her 5 month old to mommy/baby gymboree classes and she LOVES them. She says she is so sore from them so they must really work!
Thanks ladies! I think once she hits 6 months I'll try the free class. They don't have the 0-6 month on Saturday. But that is only a couple weeks away.
Mrs.Couch - I was wondering if you could "make up" a class. I have every other Friday off, so I guess if I missed a Saturday class I could make it up on a Friday. Thanks again!
I have been taking my daughter (she turned two over the weekend) for the past 4-5 months (we also have previously gone when she was around a year old in another state). I have prepaid thru September so she will keep going till then.
Honestly, I think its overpriced. I think that they now have a monthly fee of $55.00 (or $50). So that comes out to like $10-$12 per class. The classes are only 45 minutes long. They do have open gym 2-3 times per week to but we don't always seem to make it those.
We have annual passes to Sea World and Aquatica too which are free for her and like $12/month for me. She has just as much (if not more) fun when we go there so I guess there are other places I take her that are less money that she enjoys just as much.
She doesn't go to daycare so I guess the interaction with other kids is good for her.
I am glad that I signed her up for it but I don't see it as something I would keep her enrolled in for much longer.
You could definitely do a "make up" class as long as her class is offered on Fridays as well. We were scheduled for a Tuesday early evening class I believe and then we used Saturday as our make up day. I was paying $69 last summer!! I wish it was a little cheaper too!!! Good luck!

When Rylie gets a little older, we'll have to get together for a playdate!
And Elizabeth - I see your point. But I can only take so much of watching her bounce around in her jumparoo. I was just thinking it would be something her and I can do together.
I have to butt in here and say that your little girl is SO adorable!!!
I am afraid to put Rylie in bed with me. She moves around all over the place and even though I have a king size bed, I'm afraid she'll fall off. She's a crap napper anyway, so I probably wouldn't be able to get a good nap anyway.
And boo that I can't see the picture of your little cutie.
We will definitely set something up! Shoot me an email sometime...
