What do you get yours/his grandparents for Xmas?
We just got married so i'm planning on framing some really good black and white images and maybe adding a bottle of wine, hoping to spend $30 on each set of grandparents.
Any other good ideas?
What are your plans for your grandparents gifts this year?

Re: What do you get yours/his grandparents for Xmas?
Grandpa gets baked goods. Usually some cookies and a homemade un-baked mini frozen pie he can bake whenever.
I told somebody else this too, but I know a grandma whose favorite present is the calendar with all her kids' and grandkids' birthdays on it.
Last year they got albums, since we had gotten married the previous May.
My Grandparents are the only ones still with us, and they're the type that will run out and get what they want/need whenever they want/need it...so they don't really have wishlists. So, we get them things that we know they'll use - a gift certificate to the hair salon for my Grandmother, Home Depot for Grandpa, maybe a book on tape for their car trips or an herbal tea gift box.

I usually send my grandmother a gift basket (Hickory Farms) so that it arrives to her house on christmas eve.
Last year, I made a photo album from shutterfly of all old family photos of her family (her parents, grandparents, deceased husband and her kids etc.) She cried. She hadnt seen most of the photos before, or even knew where they were-she thought she had lost them. My aunt helped me get the photos, and I scanned them in.

Between the two of us we only have 2 grandfathers and my nanny. Every year I get my Grandpa a sweat outfit or a sweat shirt. My DH Gramps loves almond rocha, so we get him that or a sweater. My Nanny will be 93 in January and loves getting something pretty to wear, now that she doesn't leave the house much, pajamas are normally what we get her.
i always got my grandma a goodie box filled with stuff that she used day to day. it was always a surprise.
DH's grandma knits, so we get her knitting stuff.
My grandma is 92, cranky, and has more $ than God. We usually get her a plant (she likes to garden) or a nice bathrobe/slippers. I got her some cute bird slipper from piddies on Etsy last year, and she loved them. For her birthday, I collected pics of all the kids and great-grandkids, and made a photobook.
Our little Irish rose came to us on March 5, 2010

How about a gift certificate to a restaurant ?
We just have my grandmother - she used to watch our dog while H and I were at work & absolutely adores & misses seeing her everyday, so we make my grandmother a kodak calendar filled /w pix of the dog. This year we'll add DS to the calendar. It's such a silly thing, but she loves it. Takes it to her senior center to show off to all the ladies
Years ago, I'd get her a new robe & slippers every year (she's always cold).
Last year we got them a framed photo of us from our wedding and a group picture of the entire family that was framed. Then we got a gift card to their favorite breakfast spot.
They both loved it. They had mentioned wanting a picture of us from the wedding anyway, so we figured we'd do that as the gift. Actually H's bro and cousin got married too and they both gave her the pictures as well.
It is just his left sadly.
Sometimes we buy them some clothes etc.
Last year we bought them a DVD player and a couple movies.
This year we will probably by some more dvds.
This is what I do and they love it!
they have everything they want/need and dont want more "stuff". They wont use gift cards - they give them away when grandkids come visit so we've started giving a donation to a charity they like to support.
THEY LOVE IT!!!
The past few years, I gave my grandmother a few rolls of quarters (b/c she loves going to the casino) and I give her a box of assorted greeting cards and some stamps.
