Hahah! Did you hear how many times they played that "Empire State of Mind" song last night at the stadium? I told DH if I never hear that song again it will be too soon.
They play that song for Jeter whenever he goes up to bat and maybe some of the others picked that song too for their up-at-bat tune.
You'll definitely hear it again tonight, Jay-Z and Alicia are performing. I thought it was last night but it's scheduled for today. Maybe Michelle Obama trumped the performance.
Can't wait to hear the screams for Pedro tonight from the fans.

The great thing about Empire State of Mind was that there was an article earlier this week about how the Phillies had been playing that during the NLCS after wins, because they were so tweaked to try to get to the WS and play them.
So yeah, suck it NY.
Now maybe it was cause all the Yankee's fans left early last night, but the crowd just didn't seem to be all that loud or into the game at the stadium. Maybe Fox had all their mics pointing elsewhere, whatever it was, NY was quite last night. Wait for Philly, you won't be able to hear the Fox announcers.
Wouldn't that be nice?
