And we still haven't gotten the final word from the mortgage company. We are just waiting to hear back from the investors for Countrywide with whether or not they will accept the sellers giving them the 10% down out of their equity instead of out of their checkbook. WTF! It's still $8k no matter what, and they'd still be getting it at closing. We have been waiting over 5 weeks just for them to make this ridiculous decision.
The sellers moved out over the weekend. DH and I went to see the house empty. They left us all the paint (which is awesome because we really liked some of the colors they had), all 3 new air conditioners (saved us at least $600), the big trash bins a couple dining room chairs (weird) and laundry baskets (I was going to actually buy another one). Also, we looked out back and they had more landscaping then we saw before. They have Peonies! Yay! I wanted some so bad. Oh, and of course they left the swing set and sandbox. Perfect for little nieces and nephews (for now).
On the way home, I told DH I just want to find out and be done with all this stressing and worrying. Right after I said it, a song come on and it just kept saying "Everything will be alright." We think it is a sign. Crossing fingers.
