This is how I feel. I was a little upset, given that he has been riding so high. But, maybe it was just a down night (for the whole team).

This. I'm actually having a hard time with the Phillies being in as well. The two teams I wanted to see in the Series least are playing each other. I don't know who to root against more.
ND--I thought it was piss-poor but I would be okay if it was a one-off situation and he gets back into his groove.

He's probably my best friend at work and an awesome guy, but I have never seen this side of him. Granted the Yankees haven't really done anything in previous years, but he is being such a d!ck! For example (and FWIW, I am not one to gloat or try and make trouble), when the Yanks beat the Angels I said congratulations. Coworker's response? "Yeah, now we're going to kill the Phillies like we did the Angels." ND: "Well [coworker], the Phillies aren't the Angels. While the Angels are a good team, they did struggle a bit in the ALCS." CW: "WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! The Angels are a GREAT AL team, but the Yankees are just that good." Yikes! Needless to say, I am trying to avoid all World Series banter.
