OK who sang the national anthem last night?
Its driving me nuts and I can't find it anywhere....

My home office. Joeyzlovieg's hubby made it for me. I love it!
Re: OK who sang the national anthem last night?
I didn't think he was bad. Not the best, but I see what they were doing by honoring soldiers, and I'm ok with the fact that he wasn't fabulous.
What was with the extra beginning on God Bless America. I've never heard that before.
He was not good. He's a hero and all but he was not good.
Also, I distinctly remember last year the singers had to wear World Series jackets, not Phillies or Rays jackets.
honor soliders with better singers.
god bless america -
that is the souped up beginning part that we had to sing in chorus in 7th grade.
also - what ever happened to just take me out to the ballpark? will this darn war just end already so i can go back to normal baseball watching?!
They sing that after God Bless America.
Yeah, they just usually don't broadcast it.
Is that the cop that sang after 9/11? He was amazing.
I remember that cop singing. So emotionally charged that game. Ronan Tynan is a professional singer, one of Irish Tenors. He always does an amazing job and was hoping he would sing at one of the WS games.

Ronan can suck it too.

Me either. That sucks.
That is the actual beginning of the song. The part that most people know is actually the end. They always sing the whole thing at Yankee Stadium.
I was wondering that too. I PPH Ronan Tynan. He's an amazing singer with an amazing story.
