What are you doing to celebrate the 4th?
DH and I are going to Long Beach for a bonfire and to light off of fireworks. The 4th is also his birthday, so he gets really excited for this holiday
Re: POLL: 4th of July Plans
We leave Friday morning for San Francisco. Its my first time there and I'm so excited along with a little nervous to be traveling for the first time with the baby. Unfortunately I don't think there will be any firework watching in our future unless we can see them from our hotel window since DS goes to bed around 7pm.
Next year however we'll be spending the 4th in Long Beach. We have a house in nearby Seaview and apparently there's also a new Trendwest going in and my Mom already reserved a block of rooms. I'm excited. It'll be perfect for Tre since he'll be one and a half then, he'll be more into the fireworks and whole beach scene.
Lis - Where are you staing in SF. They light off fireworks over the Bay so you might get lucky. I'm not sure how visible thy will be this year with all the fires going on.
Next year I'll be at a wedding in last for my bf. It will be exciting but DH is bummed because it's a Sat and we won't be able to go to the beach with all his friends for his birthday.
Have a fun trip.
We're going to stick close to home and go over to our friend's parents house for a BBQ and then light off some fireworks. Should be a fun, low key day. :-)
