Annoyed at my brother!!
My SIL has swine flu and now one of my nieces has a high fever so she probably has it too. I work for my brother and he doesn't have it....yet.
My brother has been traveling and is supposed to return to the office tomorrow. I asked him to please work from home tomorrow because he could spread the virus throughout the office, and he basically told me no.
I'm upset because I am also supposed to go into the office tomorrow and if I get swine, I am in the high risk group and basically have to check myself into a hospital. My boss told me to come to work and to wear a mask.

I'm just annoyed because its ONE day. He can just wait to see if he doesn't get it by Monday and then go back to work on Monday.
What I dont get is that our company just hosted an event about the dangers of H1N1 and spreading it through the office. I know it's his company, but come on!
Ugh I feel like I need to wear gloves and a head mask. The worst thing is that I told my boss I couldn't go in if he was there and he asked me to go in with a mask. I know I can still get it with a mask and I am also going to be embarassed.
Whatever...
I don't care how old you are, the fact that it's a sibling gives you a right to walk right up to him and punch him in the arm.
Be careful and wash your hands a lot!
This is the perfect example of why working with family sucks. I know you expect him to accomodate you because he is your brother but the reality is he is your boss and it's his company. If anyone should stay home its you.
Would you ask your boss not to come in if he wasn't your brother? I doubt that'd sit well.
I'd go with the previous post and just punch him in the arm. (wearing gloves obviously)
