**I'll be on Good Morning America tomorrow--10/30**
I have a college friend who's visiting NYC for the first time from the Windy City, (funny enough she was actually my RA one year in college). So, she garnered a couple tixs to the GMA show to appear in the studio audience. Honestly, at first I told her no, explaining to her that I live an hour from the city in Throgs Neck and to be in Times Square by 6:15 a.m. is more like wishful thinking! But, I felt bad since her DH will be in business meetings and she would be alone, plus I had taken tomorrow off work coincidentally.
But--the catch here is since it's the day before Halloween, GMA requires all audience members to come in a costume! As if it isn't enough bravery to just wear a Halloween costume?but to wear one on national television! (I'm hoping to be as inconspicuous as possible)! LOL. That was almost the deal breaker, but I'm sucking it up and think it will be fun.
As for my costume?as a 5'9 black woman I gave myself two choices: Foxy Cleopatra (more the 1970s' original of Pam Grier and less Beyonce), OR miss "How You Doin'" herself, Wendy Williams. I've decided that I would look much better in a fabulous afro wig, rather than a long dirty blonde one! 
So, if you happen to be up getting ready for work between 7-9a.m. tomorrow, look for me! I'll be donned in 70s' tacky glamour and be the black chick in the fabulous afro!
