Passing out candy

Are you passing out candy tomorrow?

What did you buy?

How many pieces are you giving out?

Re: Passing out candy

  • I'm passing out candy.

I have a bag of 22 individual chip bags.  I also bought 2 of each: Kit Kat, Nestle Crunch, and Twix.

I'll give each kid 2 pieces of candy, babies just 1, and if/when the candy runs out I'll pass out chips.

  • I got 2 bags of Reese's, kit kat, hershey bars ( I had a buy 3 get 1 free coupon) and I have a huge bag of nerds, and smarties.  I usually give out 2 pieces.  When it's gone, lights out.
  • I never get trick or treaters! My front door is faced at a weird angle so I never ever have trick or treaters.

  • I don't get anyone. No

  • I bought two big bags at target of a melange of chocolatey goodness.  I'm hoping for leftovers.  Embarrassed

  • I am really hoping tot'ers finish all our candy.  I knew it was a mistake buying candies that I love.
  • I didn't know people would give out more than 1 piece of candy. You are so generous D!

We are passing out candy but only get about 20-25 TOTers.

I bought a combo bag of Kit Kat & Reese's Butter cups. There are 75 pieces. (Hubby expects leftovers and requests I give out the kitkats first.)

    One per kid.

  • I'll be at my parent's house, but MH will pass out candy here.  We have a few bags of Kit Kat and Payday.  We usually give out 2-3 per kid.

After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!

  • I made up bags with 4-5 pieces each. I used mixed bags of the usual chocolate candybars, nerds and laffy taffy. I made about 65 bags and at that point the light is going off. I swear we get a ton more children than actually live in our neighborhood.
  • We don't get any trick or treaters.

We do give our neighbor's doggies treats though.

I used to drive to the "good" neighborhoods to get better candy.

I used to do the same thing so I can't complain too much. Wink

Me too! There was an area called "Friendly Hills" in the area where I grew up and lots of the houses handed out full size candy bars!

  • i doubt we'll pass out candy - that would mean staying home, and i feel like being out and about.  we might leave some on the doorstep since our apartment community is gated anyway.

  • R & I will be handing out candy pending any other plans.

Reeses, KitKats, Snickers, Milky Ways, and a few others..

Usually 2 per kid, 3 if we know them from the neighborhood.

  • We won't be home, so no candy passing out for us this year. Usually we don't get many kids coming by anyway, I think our average is in the single digits.

We also used to do this.  We were fairly close to Nellie Gail which back then was nice.  We usually got full size bars.
