Clothes for Maternity Pics - Question

In case any of y'all are around, I thought I'd ask your opinion....

DH and I are having maternity pics done tomorrow. I got a dress to wear to my two showers that I was also thinking about wearing for the pictures. Here is the link:

I can wear it with brown boots, brown peep toe shoes, or brown cowboy boots. We were going to get DH a forest green colored button down and he was going to wear jeans. The pictures will be outside.

Do you think the dress will look okay for the pictures? It seems like I mostly see people in jeans for theirs, so I wasn't sure. If y'all think I should wear something else, could you suggest a color to go with forest green? I want to stick with that color shirt for DH because I am having a super hard time getting him to agree to any colors of shirts and he agreed to that color.

I think people wear jeans for pictures because it makes your belly stand out more than a dress does. Wear whatever you want! That dress is cute

Wear both! The dress is very cute and will look great.  If you want to wear jeans and a top too to show off your belly, do that as well.

LOVE that dress! I actually tried the same one or very similar one on about a month ago and was going to wear it for a wedding and then possibly for maternity pics as well, but it didn't look quite so cute on me, ha! I think it would be great for your pics! I ended up just wearing jeans for mine and did a few different blouses in them to mix things up a little. I planned on still doing a basic black tank style jersey dress, but gave up on that idea in the end because I just didn't want to bother with it. Can't wait to see your pics!

Thanks, everyone! I'm going to wear the dress and then bring jeans and a shirt in case we want to do some bare belly pics. I will post them when we get them!
