Husband Collasped
Hey Girl!
So this morning was full of terror for me!
I woke up to a call from my husbands parents saying that he is in the hospital because he collasped at work.
He complained of weakness and numbness of his legs and arms and then he just cramped up and collasped.
Thankfully he is ok & we are finally at home after a hectic morning.
The doctors said it was due to low potassium because he exercised this morning & didn't eat anything.
Just wanted to let everyone know! I know you missed me!

Oh my goodness how scary!! Did they at least know he was going to be okay by the time they called you so you didn't have to freak out quite as bad!

No they didn't know anything when they called me & I was freaked to now end crying all the way to the hospital. I honestly thought he had a stroke!
OMG!!! I am so glad he's OK!!!!
I did wonder a while ago where you were but just figured I had missed something yesterday and you said you wouldn't be here today.
Oh my gosh!!! SO sorry to hear about this! I just imagine how scared you must have been.

Wow...So glad he is OK. That would have freaked me out. That is so mean for someone to call you and leave you hangin like that. They could have given you some kind of reassurance.

Yea after they did the EKG i thought I was gonna tap my leg off from tapping it up & down from nervousness- but thankfully the EKG came out ok and they said his heart was ok. :::breathes::
Haha yeah the nurse came in when I was hugging him in the bed & she said "take it easy now you don't want to get is heart rate up" lol
I told him we could shut the curtain & play nurse! lol It made him laugh!
Oh...you dirty girl!
You should stop on your way home from work and get a nurse outfit...hehe!

Wow - what a morning indeed. So glad he's doing better. Low potassium can be scary for sure - bananas have the highest natural source, and Gatorade can be good to somewhat replenish too. But you def give him a strong lecture about working out w/o eating - total no no, esp in the a.m.
It's like drinking enough water, once you are thirsty you are already dehydrated, so make sure he has a good snack before workouts.
He may like the lecture better if you are in the nurse's outfit! Come on, we know you want to!!
