I just don't get Tressel's love affair with this kid, he isn't QB material and it is as if this 19 year old kid calls all the shots...

I don't get it either.  I'm not saying putting up good numbers should justify behavior in the least-but if he was kicking_ass and taking names, it might make the fact that Tressel's putting up with some of the crap Pryor pulls slightly less surprising.

Are you serious? That is the most ridiculous thing.

Very serious for a variety of reasons, you never call a game over before its over what if your backup gets hurt or needs pulled..not beside the whole you are a member of a team thing and if your third string long snapper can stand on the sidelines in his team uniform, I am pretty sure it shouldn't be beneath you to support your team members in your uniform as well. You are the member of a team. This type of action makes you appear to be apart and separate from your teammates.

copzy, you're gonna kill me, but I am so jaded by the Buckeyes this season.  It's either a blowout or an ass-whooping.  I don't know if the problem is Pryor or Tressel.  (More likely both)

Pryor should be a receiver...that is if he can catch.  Dude, what's up with the eyes?  It's so obvious he's in love with Posey.  Penn State scares me.

Seriously, OSU needs to get more interesting for ALL games.  Not just games like NM State.  Jeez!  Show some creativity like that more often! 

Even if it was a blow out, and Tress sat/let Pryor out, at least they tried something other than run, run, pass.

BTW, G was calling the NM plays 1st quarter.  It was hilarious.  I asked him where his paycheck was as defensive coordinator for the Buckeyes was going.

Woogie, I agree with you on all points, especially about Penn State.  J and I were discussing this earlier-both teams have good defense and crappy o-line, they have a better QB but IMO we have better receivers and running backs.  So next weekend's game scares the crap out of me.  We're having a G2G for the game that I'm already referring to as a "cheering on the Buckeyes/praying that we don't lose" party.

I'll have to see if a long Friday lunch is possible.  I'm taking another day off on the 10th and I think my asst might be off the 20th.  But depending on gametime Sat, it's definitely doable for the 21st.  Staying in town?  Fun!  I'd love to meet the future ANTM!

Agreed!  It's gonna be a tough one.  Mr. Woogie has emotional ties to PSU, so it's always a tough game for him to watch as it is.  Don't get me wrong, he wants Ohio State to win, but if PSU is playing anyone else and it's not bad for the Buckeyes them to win, he doesn't begrudge a Penn State win.  I dread this weekend every time.  This year more than recently.
