    That walk would have totally counted towards the 30!

    It's not too late!  You don't have to do a workout every day, just 30 workouts in the month of November.  You can do more than 1 workout a day. Things that count as separate workouts are cardio, walking dogs, weights, yoga, extensive stretching, taking a walk, riding your bike, swimming.  YOu can do it!

    You poor thing.  Well, you know, 15 to 20 minutes of dedicated stretching also counts as a workout.  Just sayin.

    At the risk of sounding dumb...what is dedicated stretching. Or at least, what does it mean to you? Big Smile

    Setting aside a little block of time to really get into stretching, making sure I hold it for a while until I can really feel that stretch, breathing as I go.  Trying to get a little meditation time in there as well.  Concentrating on what I'm doing and going slow as opposed to just swinging my arms around or pulling my knee up a couple of times to stretch it out.  Did that make sense?  I guess a mini solo version of yoga. 

  • Oh that I can totally do! I just tried here in my office. (no one's here don't worry) and it doesn't make me want to stab myself with the scissors so I think I'll be ok!

  • You don't have to check in every day.  Sometimes life is busy and so we'll skip a few days and then just catch up.  Ex:

    11/10 - walk with Princess + stretching = 2

    11/11 - power walk for 30min + weights = 2

    11/12 - exercise DVD = 1

    Something like that.

    I'm excited about the eating vegetarian and eating vegan tasks. One of them I do already everyday and the other one means just taking the cheese off so whoo hoo!

    Ok now you've confused me.  Are you doing the Sparkpeople challenge (30 workouts in November) or the Health Fitnes board challenge (much more intense)?
