Charleston Ladies

Does anyone know of a fantastic primary care dr? and a good vet for my yorkie?

Re: Charleston Ladies

  • I am not sure about a primary care doctor, but I have been taking my dog to Angel Oak Animal Hospital on John's Island, and they have been fantastic. I am not sure how convenient that is for you, but they are really wonderful.
  • I see Elizabeth Call as my PCP. She is in Mt P and West Ashley. I really like her, she's young and really takes a lot of time to talk to you.

    We use Bee's Ferry Vet.

  • I second Bees Ferry Vets.

No rec's on PCP.  my "current" one sucks.  i got sick a few weeks ago and when i called to make an appt, they couldn't find my name in the system so i was considered a new freakin patient & didn't have any openings for a month.  that was the final strike against them.

  • I never had a pcp. We always went to Doctor's Care on Rivers Ave. since it was 30 sec. from our house. They're great there - even stitched up dh's finger.  We also used Bees Ferry Vet.
  • I go to Carolina Family Medicine in goose creek. All the dr.s at that practice are AWESOME. Its very affordable, and you feel like everyone knows your name when you walk in. We take our sweet dog to the Hanahan Vet Clinic. They are really great there as well, and I am very particular with my dog so I wouldnt just trust anyone.
