Christmas: what to get for two guys in their 30s?

DH has two friends who live out of town and are currently roommates (both broke up with long term live-in girlfriends this year, and one moved in with the other one for a few months).  I love these guys and definitely want to send them some Christmas presents.  I was going to have Dh and I make them cheezy stockings decorated with glitter, and I want to put a bunch of presents in them but I'm kind of stuck.  They both like Starbucks so I'll do GCs, and I was going to make some peppermint bark.  Beyond that, I have no clue!  They both like music (though I don't think they buy from iTunes), one is a vegetarian computer programmer who loves bike riding, and the other likes movies and works at a movie theater, but isn't so into any kind of athletics.

Any thoughts??

  • I love www.uncommongoods.com  They always have great, unique gifts.
  • I second uncommon goods. You can also check out thinkgeek.com and x-tremegeek.com.
  • hm for the veggie computer programmer: a biking booksac filled with biking shorts, active wear shirts, maybe shoes, vegetarian cookbook and some gag boxers.

the movie lover: get a basket full of the greatest movies this year, pop corn, movie candy, some lounge pants and couple of funny graphic tees.

    HTH!
