I need some help with this! I am thinking about doing a life update/holiday greeting for close friends and family. It's my first year, so I was wondering what each of you do, if you do anything at all. Thanks for your help!
(P.S. I'm trying to think of ways that are cost effective as well)
Re: Holiday Greeting Ideas
It depends on the year
One year I did the Christmas tree in text that gave a very brief update of our year. One year I did our 10 favorite places we visited over the year, with a small picture for each. My parents did a month-by-month letter to a paragraph that starts with the letters for Merry Christmas. My good friends have done 5 things each of them did and didn't get done this year, as well as 12 highlights to the tune of the 12 Days of Christmas.
Our little Irish rose came to us on March 5, 2010
Don't drink the water.

We're just doing a Christmas card with an updated photo of the family.
My one uncle does an update newsletter though. He uses a template from MS word and fills in about how he and his wife are doing, how the area has been, and how his kids/grandkids are doing. He just sends it as his Chrismtas card for the year.
