I am so bored at work. The phone has rang ONCE today since 8:30 AM and I have gotten zero return calls today to my voicemails.
5:00 PM cannot come sooner. Unfortunately, I will hit the Red Hot & Boom traffic on my way out of here..which will add 30 additional minutes of gridlock for me, and then I get to go to crowded Publix. SO I am really looking forward to the 3 day weekend!!

They are dual colored star cookies. Basically, you color one batch of dough red and one blue and leave the other white. Then, cut out big cookies and use a smaller star to cut out the center. Then, you swap the colors. So, there's red with blue in the middle, etc. Does that make any sense?
There ended up being way more small ones, so I'm going to ice them. I'm going to attempt my first flood icing.

AHHH! I am so sorry! In my 24 years of living in Orlando I have never gone to Red Hot and Boom. I have no patience for traffic or crowds so it's just not worth it to me! I hope Publix isn't too bad - is it the one right there on 436? That's where I got my wedding cake.?
Oh the traffic is such a mess every year for that. I am actually going to the Publix in Lake Mary, but with last min. July 4 menus, I anticipate it being packed with everyone having their eye on same items. I am not in the mood for it today hehe. I just picture 15 women all looking through corn cobs and fighting over the bi-color ones or something. I just want to go to sleep lol
