Monday
I'm cranky. The Phils lost (WTF is wrong with them?!) and I have to leave to travel for work tomorrow. I'd rather be sick than go on this trip. Ugh....I've been dreading it all weekend and it pretty much made me cranky all weekend too.
We didn't get one trick 'r treater on Halloween, which meant that I ate just about all of the candy we had. Being cranky didn't help that either. Yesterday we shampoo'd our living carpet and it looks so much better! They cleaned the rugs at work over the weekend and my cube farm smells like a toxic waste dump. I'm predicting a headache by lunchtime. I don't understand how they can 'clean' the carpets and yet the mystery stains are still there. The floor is also still wet...lovely.
How was everyone else's weekend? Any fun Halloween parties?

My weekend was horrible b/c I was sick all weekend, I swear I thought I was getting the swine flu Sat night. I never felt so horrible...I had a fever, the chills, a sore throat, stuff nose and all. I woke up the next morning and the fever broke and hasn't come back so I guess that's good and I don't feel as horrible.
I only have work today and we are off the rest of the week which is nice, maybe I can finally start to feel better and then Saturday I have my cousins wedding at the Sea Oaks country club in Galloway Twp...which will be fun

Morning. H forgot to turn our alarm clock back, so I was up at 4:30 and got ready for work. Didn't realize it until I looked at my cell phone at 5:10. Of course, Jack slept til 6, too!
I'm disappointed with the Phils loss. I was hoping they'd put up a better fight. I hope they at least win tonight.
We had a Halloween party Friday night - it was really fun. We got a good amount of trick-or-treaters Sat night.
We had some kids... but only about 60 or so... my MIL had told me to prepare for at least 100. Needless to say, we have tons of leftovers.
I felt like there was nothing going on this year for Halloween..maybe because of the Phillies games?? But DH and I decided that we're having a party next year. Gotta take matters into my own hands

The weekend was good.
We had loads of tick or treaters on Saturday and ran out of candy just in time because we had plans to go out and the kids who came up to the door as we were leaving got the last handful.
We went to a going away party Saturday, which despite the weather was great. My friend got a wonderful job opportunity and he will be away for five months for training and then moving away. A huge group of friends were all there, which was awesome because I haven't seen them as much as I used to since I got pregnant.
I was bummed about the Phillies Sat and Sun... let's see what tonight brings.
