It was fantastic!! Thanks for asking.
I actually had a blast running it, and that is honestly the first time I have ever said that about a marathon (I have run 9 now, but this was my first NYC). Everything was SO well organized, the spectators were awesome, and the course was always interesting.
I ran a 3:54, which I'm pretty happy with. It's not my best time ever, but it's faster than I've run in the last few years!
Thanks to anyone who was out there yesterday....I really was SO impressed by the crowds!

I want to do Chicago next fall, which is on October 10. But, I think I will probably enter the NYC lottery as well, and just do it for fun if I do get in (it's November 7, I think, so a month later....my legs will still be a little trashed but I would just do it for kicks and not go for a good time).
Seriously, I think going across the Verrazano was one of the hardest parts! That is a loooooooong bridge, and it was super windy up there!
