I still can't believe that Johnny Damon stole two bases on one pitch.  I've never seen anything like it before.  Plays like that are the reason I love baseball.

After jumping off the couch and screaming like a little girl after he made it safely to third, my very next thought was, Oh yeah, it's a contract year for Damon.  What a way to make a case for yourself".

It was great!  I was trying to figure out what he was doing and then, oops, no third baseman.  Woopsie.   And then Alex after (even after getting hit with yet another pitch...seriously, how hard is it to miss someone??) I was a happy girl.

I was like WTF is he doing!? Where is he going? But, then I was so excited to see there was no third baseman. I haven't really been a fan of him in years past, but he is making a case for himself this year, for sure.

I will really miss Damon and Matsui if and when they go.  But in the meantime, they both are proving what workhorses they are, in addition to the raw talent.

I still miss Bernie.  And Paul.
