@ Properties-Fees?

This past weekend, DH & I were in Chicago apartment hunting for our big move in December. We found a place we liked on Craigslist, so I called and made an appointment. The poster turned out to be an agent for @ properties. He has been super helpful and took us to a few additional listings as well. We didn't find anything, but are planning on making another trip in a few weeks and this agent has been super helpful and would like to help as well with that trip.

My question-How do the fees work? I know when buying a house, the seller pays the fees. How does this work with renting? Has anyone used @ properties and will we be expected to pay the fee and approximately how much does that run?
