"there is nothing wrong with being an older mature woman."
i'm perusing posts on f&b and someone the same age as me posted looking for something to wear to a bachelorette party with a bunch of 20-somethings. i read it because i'm in the same position - FSIL's bachelorette is this weekend.
anyway, someone replied in the post with that statement in my subject line. GROSS. i have never thought of myself as such, but i guess at 38, that's what i am?

Re: "there is nothing wrong with being an older mature woman."
I consider myself a mature older woman though. I thought that was a good thing!
I saw that. I think so much of this is how you look/act. You don't look like an old 38 yo, but we all know people that do. I think if you look a bit younger, you can pull off things that "older" people can't, you know what I mean?
Not blowing smoke here, but if I didn't know I'd guess you were in your 20's. No Joke.
You look a lot younger than I do.
Milk it.
You look like your teenage daughter's older sister.
There's nothing wrong with THAT.
I finally read the thread. So silly.
People her age are...well, children. Vanessa Hudgens, Rupert Grint, Haley Joel Osment, Rumer Willis?
Kids. All of them.
This reminds me of when I was in driver's ed. I don't remember the context, but the instructor had asked me, "What age do you think is old?" I said, "I don't know, 50, 55?" He was in his 50's.
