Chicago Nestie visiting NY for NYE
Hi Ladies!
I don't mean to be a bother, but my DH & I are visiting NY for the new year. We will be staying with my SIL(a Chicago native in her 1st year of a Master's program).
If it's not any trouble, can you recommend any places to spend New Year's Eve indoors in Times Square? We would like to be in the vicinity, but not actually outdoors when the ball drops.

i'm not sure how helpful we'll be since most new yorkers stay as far as possible from times square on NYE. the streets will be blocked off and insanely crowded with people so i would recommend coming no closer than a bar in hell's kitchen (9th avenue in the 40s block) or rockefeller center (6th avenue in the upper 40s/low 50s block)
chelsea grill, vynl, and eatery are some of our favorites for dinner in hell's kitchen. ?
