Yes. I love beer. We'll probably have stuff out to make vodka martinis as well.

I should add, though, that most of my guests will be teetotalers. So I need non-alcoholic drinks.

Hot (spiced, if you choose) apple cider -- I have a recipe for spiced cider that I make in a crock pot.

My dad loves store-bought eggnog (the alcohol-free kind)
You could make hot-buttered rum with rum extract instead of real rum.
Apple cider is appropriate for all fall festivities.
At the ILs, we drink coffee with dessert.
