Holiday Wish List
It's that time of year again. The family is asking for Christmas lists (we all live in different states so we're not getting together this year) and I'm really bad at coming up with ideas. The fam hates to give gift cards too....so what are YOU asking for this year?? I don't really need anything but the family wants to buy something.

But if we weren't having a baby in 3 months, we'd probably ask for movies/books/video games that we would like but don't want to buy ourselves..

We are asking for gift cards towards the luggage set we want to buy. DH and I have two ratty old suitcases and one crappy duffel, and I feel like we are at the point in our lives where we need decent luggage!
DH's family will probably buy us baby stuff...(even though we don't need or want anymore baby stuff, we are all set...urgh)
My Mom already gave us a big chunk of cash towards plane tickets to see her next March, woot! I think that's the best Christmas present ever.
And for me...Hmmm... I woud like some comfy house slippers, a long thick bathrobe, and a new pair of jeans.
This will be tough for us this year. With the baby coming, and me taking a paycut at my new employer, we are on a tight budget. We told our family to please not feel obligated to buy us anything, and I hope they listen bc I will feel guilty if they do.
I really want this Christmas to be about DH and I building a family and to focus on coming up with fun new traditions instead of gift exchanges.
Of course, my MIL is a different story...something tells me she will ask DH why I canceled Christmas
What I am going to ask for: Gift cards to Babies R Us and Target.
What I really want? A new piece of jewelry, some new slippers, books or something for ME.
With the baby coming, all our extra money is going towards stuff for the kiddo.
