Re: POLL: Recommend your foundation

  • Revlon ColorStay. It's a bit sticky (TWSS), but it's rated one of the best drugstore brands. Some girls on F&B like it even more than the high priced stuff.

Ditto this exactly. This foundation blows every other one away that I've used, including Make-up Forever (which is also very good, I use the Mat Velvet), Chanel, Clinique, MAC, and Laura Mercier. I absolutely adore Revlon Colorstay. There is a full review in my blog from last week or the week before.?

I used to use that and loved it.  But then, my bff's mom used to work at the Clinique counter and finally convinced me to try Super-fit Longwear Make-up. It has a low SPF, I think. I really like it, it covers good and last all day.

  • I have Clinique's SuperFit too! I like it well enough, but I'm going back to Revlon mostly for the price factor.

This is probably what I am going to do next time I need to buy makeup.

  • Lancome Teint Idole Ultra - one of the few things that doesn't make my skin breakout.
  • On the rare occasion I wear foundation I have Smashbox HD Foundation and it's awesome.  I wear it with the Smashbox Halo Powder.
  • I use Makeup forever (HD foundation) I really like it but it has no spf. I like how it feels and it goes on super smooth.
