If you know anyone who can help this beautiful dog, please please get the message to them and let them know how urgent he is. He is a GSD x, approximately 5 years old.
This guy was found injured along the road by the dog warden. It appears he has been hit by a car, and his back leg is mangled and may possibly have to be amputated. The shelter has him on meds for pain and has given basic shots, but the order to euth him on Monday has been given if no rescue can take him in.
He is an exceptionally sweet boy, so please help spread the word. Trans assistance may be available, and the rescue will have to be approved by the HS as well.

Hey everyone- just wanted to let you know that I called on this sweet guy to pull him from the shelter and he's already found placement with a group in Pennsylvania. No euthanasia for him!

I spoke with Nora. She said some Angels rescue that specializes in Special Needs was taking him. I told her to please call me if for some reason that arrangement fell through.
