Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I am an idiot- regarding homeowners exemption
So I didn't know you had to actually apply for it. I assumed that if I was eligible that it would automatically happen.... not sure why I thought that b/c nothing in cook county works that way 
So I am going to apply now.... anyone know if they will credit me for all the overtaxes I have paid in the last 2 years? Any other suggestions? I will say this is my first place so I had no idea!

I'm not sure what county you're in but if it's Cook go here and fill out the Certificate of Error:

DH went to the office and took care of it... we'll be getting our $ back
It may take a while to get it but better late than never!
