Dentist recomms?
I'm am seriously overwhelmed. I have no idea how to find a dentist! I am military, so they have to use the United Concordia Tricare dental program. I live in Mission Valley (soon moving to Murphy's Canyon) so that area would be greatly appreciated. Do you have one you like? There are about a thousand on the "find a doctor" list...
Thanks for your help. I'm pretty desperate! It's been a year since my last appt and I have a tooth that is killing me

I have the BEST dentist for you! He's in Tierrasanta at Dependents Dental Center. His name is Dr. Dambrose. Dr. John is wonderful as well (but better with kids).
And even though I am not on military insurance anymore they accept my new insurance because I've been a patient for so long. Good luck!
I've been going to Tierrasanta Dental Group for a few years now and like them a lot. Very professional and very nice.

My dentist is in Mira Mesa and he is wonderful. His name is Dr. Gable and his office is on Erma Rd. Its a small office--him, his hygenists, and reception. His son just finished dental school so he should be joining the practice one of these days. He takes pretty much every dental insurance out there and almost all of his clients are referrals. His office is closed on fridays.
He has been my dentist my whole life
The only other people who have even touched my teeth were the oral surgeon (to remove wisdom teeth) and the orthodontist. I am dreading the day that he retires since I will be forced to find a new one.

My last doctor was in Birdrock, La Jolla--sorry cant remember the name and he was painful..Dr. Goldberg is very educated. He was able to find my gingivitis, tell me how bad it is (which is basically gone now), took out my wisdom teeth,and fixed my enamel on a tooth that has been sensitive to cold since I was a child (its silly but when youcan finally eat ice cream in a cone without screaming of pain, its wonderful)...
is he on the list? My husband is military but I have been with my dentist before we got married, so I decided to stick with him.
p.s He is a one-man operation, and some of the nurses are not so gentle but overall they are very good and very nice. Mission Valley is about 15 minutes away from University City.
