Vacation with a baby?
DH is taking a week off at the end of the month and I was trying to think of somewhere we can go (not too far away) with a 3 month old. Any suggestions?

Somewhere inside or not very hot. Nothing is worse than an overheated baby. Book a hotel on beach somewhere, at least you will have a breeze. We like to cruise but cruises are super expensive and tend to sell out during the summer.
DH and I try to vacation before school gets out and after school goes back. Our favorite months are April, May, October and November. Hardly anybody travels during these months and there are tons of deals. Even if you can wait until the last week of August you will get a better deal.
I would just stay home and sleep as much as possible!
Seriously, though, I wouldn't suggest anything longer than like a 4 hour car ride. We went to Alabama when Rylie was 4 1/2 months old. It was a 7 hour ride and she did pretty good on the way up, but the ride back wasn't so great.
And I agree with PP...do something that you won't be outside much. I don't know about your little cutie, but Rylie gets real hot, real fast. And that just equals fussiness.
