Displaying ornaments?

How do you display your christmas ornaments that have a special meaning or that are priceless to you?

(besides putting them on your christmas tree)

Re: Displaying ornaments?

  • I just put them in the center of the tree at eye level....

This way I can see them easy and point them out to people when they come over.

I know you didn't want an answer of putting them up on your tree)

    Oh well.............

  • you can display them on ornament stands somewhere, like on the mantle.  Stores that carry bigger glass ornaments (like Radko) usually carry ornament stands.  They are a heavy base with a hook that you can hang the ornament on- kind of like a banana stand but pretty and for ornaments.

    I do the same thing.

You could string lights over your fireplace (if you have one) and hang the ornaments off of them.

Or string a garland to hang them on.

  • I put old glass ornaments in a small low bowl, placed on a table or fireplace mantle.  I've seen special ornaments displayed in glass apothecary jars also.
  • We have a silver ornament tree that is about 3-4 feet tall that we put on our?buffet?in the dining room with our "special" ornaments on it so we don't have to worry about or dogs or niece knocking them off & breaking them.?
