Re: ?Mamas & Mamas to Be: Weekly Check-in?

  • (1)  What week are you in/how old is your LO?

27 Weeks today..according to The Bump, officially in the third tri now!

    (2) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or news in the last week to share?

Feeling good...anxious at times...sometimes I feel like we're not ready.  So much to do before she gets here!  But now that my work travels and weekend meetings are done for the year, I'll more time to do that stuff.  I am starting to get uncomfortable now...especially at night, which sucks.  Yay for the late-afternoon nap.

    (3) Next appointment date?  Any big ultrasounds/other exciting stuff coming up?

November 9th -- glucose tolerance test. From here forward I see the doctor every two weeks instead of every four.  We also have a hospital tour on the 9th as well.

    (4) Commercially produced baby food or DIY baby food?  Explain.

We plan to DIY.  Just healthier and cheaper in our book.  We do have some travels planned during her first year and may resort to jarred, organic food for those trips...we shall see.

    (5) What holiday traditions do/will you create or continue with your LOs?

Thanksgiving, I hope, will eventually be hosted by us.  We shall see about that!

We plan to do an advent calendar starting on December 1st to count down the days until Christmas.  Then we'll have three Christmas gifts...akin to the 3 Magi...I don't want our kids to have so many presents under the tree that they are overwhelmed and become unappreciative!  It's nuts when I see my niece and nephew tearing through package after package.  We'll stuff stockings too.  We want Christmas to be about quality time together as a family, not the stuff.  So lots of caroling, sipping apple cider, decorating the tree, etc.  J's side of the family makes tacos and tamales for Christmas dinner, so we'll be sticking with that tradition too.

Easter we'll dye eggs and do a hunt and do the Easter Basket thing too.

    (6) How do you work out the holidays with ILs, etc.?

Right now we go to them, which is okay, except their house is teeny so we cannot even all eat together at one table.  Also, they make everything from canned and boxed items which I don't like at all.  I know it's not about the food, but the time together, but I'd really like to get to a place where they come to us and we host.

In addition, we have family back in CA and eventually, I think we'll have to do at least Thanksgiving or Christmas back there...since we kind of promised we would when we made the move out here.

    (7) Do you buy second-hand items for your LO?  If so, where do you get them?

Yes!  My LO's almost entire wardrobe is second-hand!  I also got a second-hand rocker, wipes warmer, crib sheets, stroller frame and Arm's Reach Co-Sleeper.  I got it all from the JustBetween Friends consignment sales here in Tulsa, Craigslist and eBay.

    (8) Best budget/money-saving tip for parents.

Buy things second-hand as long as safety isn't compromised. Prioritize needs over wants.  Limit items such as toys, books, etc. since kids loose interest if they have too many choices.  Eat at home with food you make yourself rather than buying premade stuff or eating out.

    (9) For TTCers:  Which cycle are you on?  Where in the cycle are you?  What, if anything, are you doing to have success TTCing?

    (10) For mommies: Do you divide kid-duties with your DH, mom, ILs, etc.?  If so, who does what and what is the split?

    BONUS PIP:

    image

  • (1)  What week are you in/how old is your LO?  39 weeks, 2 days (5 days to go!)

    (2) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or news in the last week to share?  Nothing different really - no contractions to speak of, dr said on Thursday he's still head down but not engaged, and I don't think anything had changed.

    (3) Next appointment date?  Any big ultrasounds/other exciting stuff coming up?  Thursday!  Anyone know if they do a NST before your due date?

    (4) Commercially produced baby food or DIY baby food?  Explain.  I'm thinking of DIY, but I don't know how lazy I will feel once we're at that point.  I may just buy it.

    (5) What holiday traditions do/will you create or continue with your LOs?  Not sure how this holiday season will go.  My parents are coming for Thanksgiving, but I'm not sure how much I will want to travel with LO over the winter due to the lack of immune system he will have and this weird flu season.  Then again, how long can I reasonably expect to keep him in a bubble?  idk...

    (6) How do you work out the holidays with ILs, etc.?  Usually we do Thanksgiving with my family and Christmas with DH's.  However, DH's grandfather was just released from hospice and is home, so we're not sure how that's going to play out with the holidays.  We're hoping most people come to visit us.

    (7) Do you buy second-hand items for your LO?  If so, where do you get them?  I haven't yet, but I have received some free hand-me-downs.  Some people are awesome :)

  • 1)  What week are you in/how old is your LO?

    19 weeks.  Almost halfway there!

    (2) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or news in the last week to share?

Overall, doing well.  No crazy zit outbreaks anymore, thank goodness.  I am pretty hungry these days and needing regular naps again.  Guess baby is going through a growth spurt!  Also trying to walk more so I can stay on track with my weight gain.  Up 10 pounds so far.

    (3) Next appointment date?  Any big ultrasounds/other exciting stuff coming up?

Just went in today for a belly measurement and to check the heartbeat.  All is well!  4 weeks until the next visit.

    (4) Commercially produced baby food or DIY baby food?  Explain.

We'll see.  I would like to DIY to a certain extent, but we'll see how busy I am.  We own a Vita-Mix, which I've heard is great for pureeing baby food.  I also want to introduce baby to a lot of different food tastes, so that might mean making some food on our own and not just relying on the bottled supply.

    (5) What holiday traditions do/will you create or continue with your LOs?

We want to celebrate everything!  We already host Thanksgiving and Christmas at our house, so we'll probably just add more festivities once the LO arrives.

One of my fave activities as a kid was our family's annual Easter egg hunt.  The night before, all the kids would go over to our aunt's house and dye a boatload of eggs.  The next day, we'd picnic, and when it was time, the kid would stay in the house and the adults would hide the eggs outside.  It was soooo fun running around searching for them in the huge yard with all my cousins.

I also want DH and his friends to eventually include Santa in our Christmas parties.  As a kid, one of my relatives would always dress up and surprise us, then distribute the gifts.  Even though we knew it was fake, it was the absolute highlight of the family party.

    (6) How do you work out the holidays with ILs, etc.?

We host holiday parties at our house to accommodate both sides of the family.  Both our families live here, so that makes it a lot easier.  I hope others will help out more with the food prep once baby arrives, though.  It's overwhelming!

    (7) Do you buy second-hand items for your LO?  If so, where do you get them?

I haven't, but I totally would.  Craigslist is not that great here in Hawaii (way more junk than good stuff) and I am not Ebay savvy.  I am also not familiar with any local consignment shops.  Would love more tips, though!

    (8) Best budget/money-saving tip for parents.

I am trying to be realistic about what is really necessary, not just shop for the sake of fun or fashion.  I am trying to stick to basics, buy them when I see them for good values at Ross', and also being very reasonable when it comes to my registry.  I think we'll inherit a lot of fun things from friends, and at the end of the day, some of kids' favorite toys and activities are the simplest -- hiding in cardboard boxes, playing kitchen with grass and dirt, and marking up sidewalks with chalk.  I hope to keep it simple, for money's sake, but also to teach my kids some good financial and non-materialistic values.

    (9) For TTCers:  Which cycle are you on?  Where in the cycle are you?  What, if anything, are you doing to have success TTCing?

    (10) For mommies: Do you divide kid-duties with your DH, mom, ILs, etc.?  If so, who does what and what is the split?

  • (1)  What week are you in/how old is your LO?

I will be 39 weeks tomorrow - eek! only 8 days left Indifferent

    (2) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or news in the last week to share?

really uncomfortable now, not getting much sleep at night. it's a chore to roll from one side to the other.  I'm getting up about 3-4 times a night now to pee. still having contractions but it has never progressed to actual labor

    (3) Next appointment date?  Any big ultrasounds/other exciting stuff coming up?

Friday - we'll see if I am finally starting to dilate yet or not and will probably discuss possible induction scenarios if need be

    (4) Commercially produced baby food or DIY baby food?  Explain.

we hope to BF for a while and we're not sure if we will introduce solids even when baby is old to start trying them... but when we do baby food we'll probably DIY since it's cheaper that way

    (5) What holiday traditions do/will you create or continue with your LOs?

not sure yet.  we'll definitely do stocking stuffers.  aside from that we'll have to see.

    (6) How do you work out the holidays with ILs, etc.?

normally each year we spend Thanksgiving with DH's family and Christmas with mine.  this year everyone is coming to us for Thanksgiving and for Christmas we will likely be celebrating on our own

    (7) Do you buy second-hand items for your LO?  If so, where do you get them?

almost everything we have for her is second hand, no point in getting new things that will be out grown so quickly - at least that's how we feel about it. we got things at consignment sales (Divine Consign, Just Between Friends), or on Craiglist or ebay.  I think that way if I see something super cute I want to get her I don't have to feel so bad paying a lot for it :) but so far I have held off on such purchases just b/c I know she will be growing so fast in the beginning

    (8) Best budget/money-saving tip for parents.

check out web forums (fatwallet.com, babybargains.com, slickdeals.net, etc) and websites (babycheapskate.com) for great deals... people are always posting stuff and you can save a lot of money that way. also use cashback sites to get money back for shopping online, sometimes up to 25% cash back (fatwallet.com, mrrebates.com, ebates.com, bing.com)

BONUS: PIP of your bump or LO or for TTCers...link to your chart!

here's a belly pic plus a sneak peak of our nursery...the wall decal will be here on Friday and after we put that up I'll post complete pics of the nursery :)

and here's the link to my complete series of belly pics now :)

  • (1)  What week are you in/how old is your LO?

21 weeks down, 19 to go!

    (2) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or news in the last week to share?

Feeling pretty good exept my right side always hurts, like I've been running or something. I'm thinking my LO might be the cause. I've also been getting slightly nauteus again :-(  I'm FINALLY interested in food again and just this week gained my first two pounds :-)

    (3) Next appointment date?  Any big ultrasounds/other exciting stuff coming up?

We just had our big U/S last week. It was great to see our LO again. It was just a normal ultrasound for us though since it was regular and at 15 weeks we got a really great 3 & 4d one when we were going through the ds scare. I didn't let myself enjoy it then though. We've also known since 15 weeks that we're having a boy.

    (4) Commercially produced baby food or DIY baby food?  Explain.

I hate cooking and am not that great at it but I would like to try to DIY for his food. I hear that it's so much better for them and you girls say it's cheaper too!

    (5) What holiday traditions do/will you create or continue with your LOs?

Not sure what traditions we will create but every year DH & I drive around on Christmas eve and look at lights and listen to music. Then we go home and eat some nice cheese and crackers, etc and open one small gift. We will keep doing that with LO. It's also important to me that LO knows that the Holiday Season is a whole season & not just Dec 24 & 25. I want our kids to not get spoiled with material things so we will not be going overboard with gifts at all.

    (6) How do you work out the holidays with ILs, etc.?

I don't have any family on my side really & DHs family that live in AZ don't celebrate Xmas so it's will just be us Big Smile, unless of course we can go to Maui as we've done for the past 3 years to be w/his Mom & Dad, which is also great ParadiseCool. I've got it pretty good it seems, I feel for some of you girls (someone w/ red shoes in particular).

    (7) Do you buy second-hand items for your LO?  If so, where do you get them?

I want to go second hand as much as possible. Yard Sales, craigslist, and i"m going to check out this between friends thing I keep hearing about.

    (8) Best budget/money-saving tip for parents.

    ???

    (9) For TTCers:  Which cycle are you on?  Where in the cycle are you?  What, if anything, are you doing to have success TTCing?

    (10) For mommies: Do you divide kid-duties with your DH, mom, ILs, etc.?  If so, who does what and what is the split?

BONUS: PIP of your bump or LO or for TTCers...link to your chart!

  • (1)  What week are you in/how old is your LO? 14.5 weeks...is it weird that I feel like I should be SO much further along?

    (2) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or news in the last week to share? Annoyed. I'm FINALLY feeling better - no nausea, the fatigue is lessening a bit, etc. - and now my allergies are doing me in. Boooo! Oh, but in news, we got to hear the babies' heartbeats on the Doppler for the first time 2 days ago (it made me laugh - it sounded like someone swishing water in their mouth to me). Yes

    (3) Next appointment date?  Any big ultrasounds/other exciting stuff coming up? Next checkup is in about 4 weeks, and my big ultrasound will be 2 weeks after that (the wait is killing me! ack!)

    (4) Commercially produced baby food or DIY baby food?  Explain. Probably both. I'll DIY a fair amount of it (wish I could say it was for health reasons, but it's really because I'm a tightwad and veggies and fruit are cheap to blend), but if we don't have time and need to buy some from time to time, that's fine. I'm trying to be realistic with my expectations lol.

    (5) What holiday traditions do/will you create or continue with your LOs? My dad always put on King Kong while we decorated our Christmas tree. I know it's weird, but I want to do that with our kids because I LOVED it!

    (6) How do you work out the holidays with ILs, etc.? Since our people live on different continents, this won't be too bad for us - as long as we're in Australia, we'll see the ILs probably on the actual holidays (ie, Christmas Day vs a day or two before), and the same for when we're in the States.

    (7) Do you buy second-hand items for your LO?  If so, where do you get them? I'm actually going to a big yard-sale type thing (not exactly a yard sale, but like that) this weekend, which I'm excited about! Otherwise, I don't know since there doesn't seem to be a big market for that in my area. Maybe eBay?

    (8) Best budget/money-saving tip for parents. Don't have two at the same time? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Ahem. Sorry. Calculating double costs gets to me sometimes...

  • (1)  What week are you in/how old is your LO?Alexa is 8 weeks on Wednesday! She'll be 2 months on Monday! (2) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or news in the last week to share? Feelling mostly good. WIsh my jeans fit! My hips are very wide, despite losing more than half of my gained pregnancy weight. So the big news is that I went running for the first time today! I only did 2 miles but it was a start. Haven't run since April. (3) Next appointment date?  Any big ultrasounds/other exciting stuff coming up?Monday is Alexa's 2 month pediatrician's appointment! This is BIG since she'll get some important shots that will make being in public safer.(4) Commercially produced baby food or DIY baby food?  Explain. No clue. Have not really thought this far yet since I'm not introducing solids until 6 months... I have looked at the baby food maker. I have also heard good things about Earth's Best.(5) What holiday traditions do/will you create or continue with your LOs?We'll see! We plan to do both Christmas and Hanukkah... I definitely want to get a tree. So we'll do Christmas gifts. And maybe also Hanukkah gifts. My family plans to come to DC this year to see Alexa for Christmas, so we'll probably do all of our regular traditions: open one gift on Christmas Eve, take turns opening gifts on Christmas Day, do stockings, cook a Thanksgiving Dinner on Christmas Day, decorate the tree beforehand as a family while enjoying Christmas cookies and hot cocoa, make Christmas cookies... You know, the usual stuff. (6) How do you work out the holidays with ILs, etc.?Each year has been different. Still figuring this one out because we have essentially THREE sets of parents to contend with due to DH's parents being divorced and remarried. Passover - DH's mom'sThanksgiving - DH's mom'sChristmas Eve - DH's dad's for the last couple years since I have not gone home... (followed by going out with DH's other Jewish friends in Atlantic City!)Christmas - My family, if possible (last year we flew to my sister's in Arizona on Christmas after spending Christmas Eve at DH's dads)(7) Do you buy second-hand items for your LO?  If so, where do you get them?Yes. Good to save money where you can! I have got several items from Craigslist: nursing stool, bassinet. I got a 2nd boppy pillow from the Wiggle Room, a local consignment store. My mom's friend gave us their white Baby Bjorn synergy, a black Hotsling and 2 Peanut Shell slings and a diaper bag. My mom bought me a used Maya sling, not sure where.(8) Best budget/money-saving tip for parents.Diapers.com and Amazon.com have better deals on most items, so check there first! Then... Craigslist and Coupons! To get said coupons, sign up for every parent thing you can: Register on Huggies Web site and also Pampers Web site, plus join the clubs at Babies R Us and sign up for coupons at Buy Buy Baby and Bed Bath and Beyond, also sign up at Children's Place and if you plan to forumla, for those sites too. (10) For mommies: Do you divide kid-duties with your DH, mom, ILs, etc.?  If so, who does what and what is the split?Well, obviously, I feed her and take care of all the pumping and milk storage stuff. So that means I get up at night. DH will give her a bottle if I am going out but he doesn't do it in the middle of the night because he has to work and I'd get engorged if I missed a feeding. We both hold, play, change her diapers, burp and bathe her, depending on who is free. Not sure what other kid duties there are? I buy everything she needs... BONUS: PIP of your bump or LO or for TTCers...link to your chart! Check my blog! Daily pics!

Adorable Jaime!  Great job on the mural...I cannot wait to see the rest!  I am thinking of you this week and hope you progress naturally and don't need to be induced!

  • (1)  What week are you in/how old is your LO?Bella is a little over 3 months, time is FLYING!!  (2) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or news in the last week to share? I feel great, I'm 2 1/2 lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight so I'm pleased with that. Although my body looks totally different! My boobs were B's and now they are E's, insane- so it's hard to find tops that fit my waist and my boobs. I found a few sweaters at Target that I like so that was a bonus. Bella is smiling up a storm and on the verge of laughing. She giggled in her sleep the other night and it was too cute!  I love being a mom! Every day I work, I feel like i rush out of there, I can't wait to see her sweet face! She loves "sitting" up on the couch, we put her between the cushions where the "crack" is so she is propped up and she LOVES that. I found her a bumbo on craigslist so we're going to be picking that up soon! (3) Next appointment date?  Any big ultrasounds/other exciting stuff coming up?Not until her 4 month check up. I only skipped the Hep B vaccine now I'm still considering spreading them out... I really need to think about it. I feel like it overloads their system to have so much at once. Any advice on this one??(4) Commercially produced baby food or DIY baby food?  Explain. We have a vitamix, yes I caved about 2 yrs ago and spent the $$, I love it. That said we need to get our money's worth so we'll be making all of our own food. We'll start at about 6 months since I'll still be breastfeeding.(5) What holiday traditions do/will you create or continue with your LOs?Christmas Day we're starting our own tradition!! I'm so excited about it. Ryan, Bella and I will spend Christmas Day at our house, just us! I want to start it now because as a small kid I always hated going to 4 different houses on Christmas. So far, his fam has only made a few comments about how we'll be missing out. I just told them, we're not missing out, we're having the best holiday ever with just our little fam in our PJs all day, loving eachother! That shut them up! (6) How do you work out the holidays with ILs, etc.? This is our first year back on the mainland since we've been together so it should be interesting!! Ryan's family is all here so we'll be spending Thanksgiving Day with all of them. My mom and step dad are flying up that evening for 4 days, I'm SO excited, they haven't seen Bella in person since she was 4 days old. Ryan and I are going to go on our first alone date since having Bella. My mom is going to watch her while we go to dinner. I haven't told Ryan yet, it's kind of my anniversary present to him (we'll be married 2 yrs on Nov 24)Christmas Eve Ryan's dad's side does a GIANT dinner. This will be the first year we're been to it together since we've lived out of state for the 5 yrs we've been together. We're going to Missouri to see my family in January and we'll all get together then. No exchange of presents, just hanging out and eating :) (7) Do you buy second-hand items for your LO?  If so, where do you get them?Yes. We got most of Bella's clothes from newborn-3months from my good friend. She had a girl and it's her last baby so she gave me what her DD outgrew at my baby shower.Other than that, craigslist!! Oh and garage sales, I've found a few things there. I'm currently looking for a high chair on craigslist but can't find anything that I like. We'll see, we have another couple months but I wanted to start looking early. We are picking up a bumbo seat tonight or tomorrow on CL.(8) Best budget/money-saving tip for parents.Cloth diapering and breastfeeding! We've saved so much money by CD and we both love it so it's good! The most expensive part of breastfeeding: the storage bags and the breastpads. Stock up if you find them on sale! I know some people are afraid to CD but it's been really easy and cheap for us. I have stayed well contained and have only bought prefolds and covers. I haven't splurged on cute diapers :) I've wanted to but why break what works for us?(10) For mommies: Do you divide kid-duties with your DH, mom, ILs, etc.?  If so, who does what and what is the split?I breastfeed so I'm doing all the feeding when I'm home. There's no way she's getting a bottle if I'm here!!  Other than that DH gives her pumped milk if I'm gone. He's also very good about getting her from her crib (she usually sleeps there the first sleep of the night and then co-sleeps the rest) in the middle of the night, changing her diaper and then bringing her to me. Which is nice for me because I can at least stay in bed. It seems like if I get out of bed, then I wake up and have a hard time going back to sleep. He takes her to and from day care since his hours are shorter. We both hold her, burp her, bathe her, change her, do the laundry and divide cooking/cleaning.BONUS: PIP of your bump or LO or for TTCers...link to your chart! Check my blog for pictures!

I went Monday to my last appt. with the RE and now I am released to my OB and have a appt. 11/9.  I do have to go back to RE at 12 weeks for a progesterone check (hopefully no more progesterone after that) and for a 1st trimester screen with the high risk dr.

    (4) Commercially produced baby food or DIY baby food?  Explain. Haven't given much thought but ya'll are making a DIY food sound so good but I don't know if I will have the patients or the time to so I guess we will see

    (5) What holiday traditions do/will you create or continue with your LOs? Nothing any different than we do now, since MH aleady has kids we are already into the traditions thing.

    (6) How do you work out the holidays with ILs, etc.? Since MH doesn't have parents and his grandparents are dead we don't have any of that to deal with.  All my family lives close so we will do our rounds on the holidays the same as always

    (7) Do you buy second-hand items for your LO?  If so, where do you get them? I haven't bought anything yet but I plan to buy what I can second hand.  We have several consignment shops around so I am sure I will hit up those.  My mom has already bought a changing table at a yard sale.

    (8) Best budget/money-saving tip for parents. I love sales and coupons

  • (1)  What week are you in/how old is your LO? 13 weeks YAY

    (2) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or news in the last week to share?  Great....never had m/s. The prenatals do something wicked to my BMs so I have drink metamucil and eat prunes. I feel like geriatric doing this ;-)

    (3) Next appointment date?  Any big ultrasounds/other exciting stuff coming up? I have so many appts. - the next one is with a fetal specialist to make sure the mysterious rash I had/have has.had no negative effects on the baby. My next big u/s is on Dec 11th.

    (4) Commercially produced baby food or DIY baby food?  Explain. I'll try DIY our baby food we'll see how it goes. I'd rather do this then give our baby processed baby food from plastic containers.

    (5) What holiday traditions do/will you create or continue with your LOs? I'm not sure yet...we haven't thought about this one much.

    (6) How do you work out the holidays with ILs, etc.? My parent's live in AZ and my ILs live 30 minutes from us soo.....most likely my parents will be traveling here for Christmas once the baby is born. We will be travelling to AZ this year.

    (7) Do you buy second-hand items for your LO?  If so, where do you get them? I probaby will buy some 'gently used' items...I haven't found a store around me yet.

    (8) Best budget/money-saving tip for parents. Don't have any yet

    26w1d

    (2) How are you feeling? Any new milestones or news in the last week to share?

Feeling good and kinda big.  (But amazingly still mostly wearing pre-pg jeans with the BeBand.  They're actually more comfortable to me than the GAP maternity jeans I bought, which put pressure on my ute and bladder.)  Not too happy about the growth of the bewbies.  Might need to invest in some new bras.  I'm outgrowing the ones from my chubbier days.  Sad  Baby's moving a ton and I'm feeling more rolling type movement.  Also, I got my H1N1 shot.

    (3) Next appointment date?  Any big ultrasounds/other exciting stuff coming up?

Next Monday - glucose tolerance test.  I had no idea that you can't even drink water after you drink the sugary drink.  Blech.  U/S at 28 weeks for 3D - hope she cooperates!

    (4) Commercially produced baby food or DIY baby food?  Explain.

I want to DIY but I'm sure it's easier said than done since we don't even cook for ourselves.  I really want the Beaba Babycook because it seems so simple and quick, which I'm all about.

    (5) What holiday traditions do/will you create or continue with your LOs?

We don't really have any traditions.  It's going to be hard because I have to work some holidays so I think we'll just have to figure things out as we go along.  We did decide last year that we would bake cookies every Christmas.  Oh, and when we move back to HI, we'll be able to celebrate my cousins' Christmas.  They have a Christmas party early in Dec with all the cousins' kids and they do a secret Santa so everyone gets a gift.

    (6) How do you work out the holidays with ILs, etc.?

No idea.  So far we just do our own thing since my dad is in HI, and B's parents are divorced.

    (7) Do you buy second-hand items for your LO?  If so, where do you get them?

Haven't bought any secondhand items.  Not sure if I will...it sort of creeps me out to not know where things have been, even for myself.

    (8) Best budget/money-saving tip for parents.

Not totally sure yet but I'd have to agree with Sarah - CD and breastfeed.  Very basic and simple way to save money.

BONUS: PIP of your bump or LO or for TTCers...link to your chart!

    Yikes!  26 weeks!
