Re: Poll!
I've noticed many people complaining that they are having difficulty meeting others in Vegas, especially on this board. I'm wondering if we should have another get together? Maybe this would help.
I personally have been to at least 4 get togethers in the past, and even though they are posted on here well in advance and many people express interested, rarely does anyone show up. I'm not sure how everyone expects to meet people, but I'm open for suggestions?
I went to college here , so my base group of friends are the ones who were college classmates, in addition to some newer friends I've met along the way through work. But to be honest, one of my closest friends locally is someone I met on the knot Las Vegas board while we were planning our weddings. I do my best to reach out to others and meet new people, and I think that one of the best ways to do this is to go to happy hours and local events, even if there's no one there that I will know. Get togethers are a good way to do that, IMO.
So, my recommendation....let's do some summer get togethers and maybe people can meet each other and continue to connect?
Any suggestions? Anyone agree/disagree?

OK, how about drinks at Blue Martini at Town Square? Or sushi again? I know these aren't Gina friendly, though! Gina--what do you want to do?

M + J---you are too cute! I still eat sushi every once in awhile. I stick to the safe stuff like tuna and salmon. I can swing that for sure! Martini's on the other hand are certainly out! I am open on the 22nd too. Maybe we should start a seperate thread so we can get more nesties?? Where is sweetpea??
