So I am obsessed with Champps crab bread and they stopped making it several months back. Today I was feeling in a crab mood and found a recipie online, modified it and wow was it yummy! I plan to make some substitutes and bring the fat/calorie content down next time but it was one delicious experiment. Enjoy!
Champps Crab Bread Ala Erika
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 splashes hot sauce
3 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
1/2 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning
1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
2 teaspoons diced onion
2 teaspoons worcheschier sauce
2 teaspoons diced celery
2 teaspoons diced green onion
1 can drained crab meat
Spread on sliced French bread, add light cheddar cheese shreds and bake on 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until bubbly. I served it with marinara sauce.
