I went to Liberty High School in Hillsboro today and got the H1N1 shot. I was 2 hours and fifteen minutes early and about 150th in line...they started letting people in around 4:50 (supposed to start at 5) and I got my shot at 5:30. there were SO many people there, and two news crews...the guy behind me was a transplant recipient who waited for 3 hours in sherwood last week, then had 10 people in front of him when they ran out of vaccines. he was livid because they don't even check if you're telling the truth...at least not until they get down to the last few people. they didn't check that i really had asthma...that makes me so mad.
anyway, i got it! just wanted to let you all know how it went in case any of you decide to go to one of the free clinics...you definitely need to get there at least 2 hours early...
Re: I got the shot :)
I got mine last week. The clinic opened at 8:00 but didn't start administering until 9:00. So I got there at 7:30 and was first in line!
I am glad you got it though.
